Job Description
Job Title: FrontEnd Developer
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace existing Java/Eclipsebased user interfaces with modern responsive Angular TypeScript frameworks.
- Convert SOAPbased web service calls to RESTful service calls.
- Migrate the deployment environment from WebSphere to JBoss EAP.
- Participate in requirements analysis highlevel and detailed design development testing and deployment of new application components.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve project goals.
- Create and maintain technical and design documentation.
- Perform system analysis and problem resolution as needed.
- Analyze software for configuration and performance tuning opportunities.
- Develop and maintain data and process models.
- Employ contemporary testing methods to ensure application reliability and errorfree functionality.
- Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts.
- Participate in program design coding and test walkthrough meetings.
- Support webbased Java applications in an SOA platform including defect repair maintenance and production operations support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while analyzing software for defects and performance improvement opportunities.
- Develop and test application code for defect resolution and performance enhancement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Handson experience in FrontEnd/UI development for enterpriseclass applications on the JEE application development platform.
- Experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
- Development experience utilizing JEE Application Servers including Authentication and Authorization and Caching strategies.
- Programming experience with:
- Java JEE
- REST/SOAP web services
- HTML5 JavaScript JQuery AJAX
- CSS3 Bootstrap SASS Typescript
- Spring Java Server Pages Struts
- JSON XML JWT Maven OpenAPI v3 OAuth PostgreSQL
- Experience implementing clientfacing applications with responsive design.
- Experience with Single Page Applications (SPAs) using the Angular TypeScript framework.
- Experience implementing user interfaces with HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience implementing RESTful service security using JWT OAuth and related technologies.
- Experience with clientfacing applications using JSP and Struts.
- Experience in developing selfcontained reusable and testable modules and components.
- Proven experience implementing best practices in application design performance scalability and maintainability.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Handson experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.
- Handson experience with Agile Development Methodologies (preferably Scrum).
- Development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
