Job Description
Job Description: Laboratory Medical Technologist
Location: Fort Mohave AZ
Employment Type: FullTime
Compensation: As per Exp.
Schedule: Night Shifts (1012 hours per shift)
As a Laboratory Medical Technologist you will perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various disease states. You will also be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications (MustHaves):- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Physical or Biological Science or
- Associates degree with documented chemistry and biology coursework that meets CLIA requirements for highcomplexity testing personnel.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist certification (ASCP AMT or HEW) is required within one year of hire.
- For candidates certified before 1988 certification programs or military training with ASCP or HEW certification are acceptable.
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist (MT).
- 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT).
