Job Description
Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced MFM Sonographer Travel Sonographer to work with one of our premier clients in the healthcare industry. This role is based in Bellevue WA and will involve performing diagnostic ultrasound tests and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. The position is a 6month contract with 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. No oncall is required. Applicants must be able to work for any US employer without additional work visa sponsorship.
What YOU will do:
- Provide diagnostic ultrasound tests for patients specializing in maternal fetal medicine (MFM).
- Work with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and assist physicians during invasive procedures.
- Educate patients about procedures and ensure cooperation for optimal test results.
- Record and process sonographic data for physician interpretation.
- Maintain and operate GE ultrasound equipment and recognize any equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and manage patient records.
- Code appropriately for services performed and handle billing documentation.
- Adhere to safety security and OSHA standards.
- Participate in staff development professional affiliations and compliance training.
What YOU will bring us:
- ARDMS certification in MFM and OB required.
- BLS certification required.
- 2 years of experience preferred; experience in a Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic or similar environment is highly preferred.
- Strong preference for candidates with fetal echo experience.
- Proficiency in using GE equipment and the Next Gen EMR system.
- Ability to handle a patient load of approximately 10 per day.
