Job Description
- 3 years of experience is required essential pediatric experience required EPIC experience required and Siemens experience required.
- Perform computed tomography techniques and examinationsConducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies cardiac CT CT Angiograms and postprocessing.Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretationOperate CT equipment and select technical factorsResponsible for proper identification on images including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.Document all related data.Provide radiation protection for patients families staff the general public and self.
- Other Responsibilities
Identify process transfer and archive patient exams including exam records images and patient demographics.Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.Resolve and escalate complex issues.Orient and train fellow staff technologists.Develop and deliver training and inservice presentations.Subject to oncall status including weekends and holidays.Other shifts as assignedAll other duties as assigned
- Computed Tomography (CT) issued by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Or Computed Tomography (CT) issued by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) issued through on organization that requires a handson instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross) preferred but must be willing to take after getting offer
