Job Title: Therapy Manager (Intra Ocular Lens)
Therapy: Ophthalmology
Reports To: Regional Business Manager/Business Head
HQ: Bangalore
Job Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities:
- Sales Target: Ensure achievement of sales targets of the assigned geographic area by generating demand of the product portfolio. Work in sync with the marketing medical team and local/regional leadership to achieve organizations aggressive growth goals. Attainment of Sales volume / mix objectives and improvement of sales mix
- Customer Relationship Management: To build and maintain a healthy professional relationship with the doctors of the territory. Promote the product portfolio and generate demand by regular presentations organizing CMEs patientoriented activities to understand and device engagement plans for the KOLs. To resolve queries from doctors to ensure high customer satisfaction and to achieve repeat/referral business.
- Sales Channel Management: Effective handling and understanding of inventory secondary sales claim settlement receivables with the local dealers.
- Reports: Daily activity/doctor call reporting weekly sales update monthly prescription tracker tour plan fortnightly expense claim monthly report. Prepare and present quarterly performance summary at quarterly cycle meeting.
- Sales Promotion Activities: Round Table Meetings InHospital Meetings Paramedical Staff Awareness Meetings VideoConferences Medical Meetings Faculty Driven CMEs. Other social awareness activities/camps like with the doctors to make the doctor connect to public by spreading awareness message either on Radio or through some other channel. To make available requested journals and memberships.
Educational/Requirements:
- B.Sc. / B. Pharm/Optometry any other Science background
- Experience of IOL selling
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Pharma or Bachelor in Optometry.
- Formal Marketing or Business qualification is essential
- Relevant experience in the Surgical Industry only
- Strong knowledge of sales processes is essential.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external customer
- Excellent analytical communication (oral and written) and organizational / planning skills.
- Efficiently and effectively work under pressure.
