About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Tyre Fitter to join our Newman team on a FIFO basis departing from Perth on a consistent 3/1 roster. This role offers a mix of handson tyre servicing and customer interaction making it perfect for someone who values both technical expertise and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell and fit truck crane and OTR tyres while assisting customers with product selection.
- Perform tyre diagnostics including inspecting condition pressure and tread depth.
- Conduct tyre fitting repairs and replacements for heavy vehicles and mining equipment.
- Balance align and rotate wheels to ensure optimal performance.
- Accurately inflate tyres and maintain strict safety standards.
- Prepare detailed quotes and invoices ensuring transparency for all transactions.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and industry compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with truck tyres.
- Manual drivers license (HR preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of tyre fitting tools and machinery.
- Physically fit for demanding conditions including heavy lifting.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass preemployment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
