1. JOB DETAILS:
Position Title: Business Development Manager/ Relationship Officer
Work Location Pune Dholepatil Road Branch
Reports to: Branch Head
Department: Business Development
Function: Forex/ LAG/ Travel & Holidays
2. JOB PURPOSE:
This position is accountable for driving growth of assigned products through planning and execution of
sales strategy and marketing activities. The incumbent builds on new customer base for business
development.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: maximum 12/14 accountability statements in the form of verb/noun/result
area
Description Performance Indicators
Responsible for generating business leads
through various channels Responsible for cross selling of thirdparty
products
Achievement of business plan targets in terms of
net revenue
Responsible for Compliance KYC and
documentation of products assigned
Productivity and performance management Customer acquisition
Customer experience and cross selling. Business promotion
Conducting detailed market study to analyze the
latest market trends to track competitors
activities for building a robust sales strategy
Responsible to build and nurture clientele for
regular business flow. Ability to strategize specific business promotional
activities to penetrate the market of the assigned
branch.
5. JOB CONTEXT: A general commentary of any aspects of the job that do not fit logically in the other
sections e.g. current projects operating context/environment
Responsible for maintaining cordial environment at work
6. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Define what is communicated to whom and why
Internal: Branch Head Regional Head
External: New Customers
7. FRAMEWORKS BOUNDARIES & DECISIONMAKING AUTHORITY: Define the nature of
policy/procedure/instruction constraints and the nature of reporting relationships with the boss as well as
any relevant financial signoff authorities

8. QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Define the skills knowledge and experience specific to
the job in question (includes generic skills)
1. Bachelors Degree/ Masters Degree will be preferred
2. 2 years of experience in any of our Core products (Forex/Gold Loan/Travel & Holidays)
3. Good product knowledge market knowledge and technical understanding of our business
4. Strong customer base
5. Well versed with MS Word and Excel
9. COMPETENCIES: Behavioural competencies
1. Communication Skills: Effective communicator with good writing skills
2. Presentation Skills: Effective and engaging presentation techniques for the variety of customers
3. Negotiation Skills: Effective bargaining and sales skills
4. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact well with the team and functions. Show respect in all forms of
communication
5. Analytical Skills: Ability to apply logical thinking while performing the job
