Speech Language Pathologist Acute Speech Therapy
Location: Abilene TX
Salary: $75000 $85000 per year
Relocation Bonus: $5000 (for applicants relocating from 200 miles away)
SignOn Bonus: $5000
Position Details:
- Schedule: FullTime
- MondayFriday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday): 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
- Shift: Day Shift
Job Summary:
ARS Acute Speech Therapy is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate plan and implement personalized treatment programs for patients. This role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and supervising technicians and support staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy programs based on speechlanguage pathology principles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise and monitor technicians and support staff.
- Utilize rehabilitation equipment and input data into computer systems.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Masters Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
- Experience: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Hours.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Licensed to practice SpeechLanguage Pathology in Texas or eligibility for licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid Texas Drivers License (required for HMC Designated Drivers).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in using rehabilitation equipment.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
