Job Description

Responsibilities
- Design and implement new service offerings on top of a strong cloud foundation
- Support development teams in leveraging our larger machine learning operations (MLOps)
- Drive the design implementation and management for expanding observability infrastructure keeping up to date with new technologies
- Lead sustainable incident response blameless postmortems and production improvements that result in direct business opportunities
- Collaborate with software development and the infrastructure team to design implement and maintain multiple business offerings
- Automate deployment scaling and management of infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices
- Monitor and optimize system performance troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Manage and secure cloudbased environments (AWS)
- Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Collaborate in designing and implementing security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
- Periodical OnCall responsibility alongside your fellow team members
- Define and document best practices across all pillars of DevOps/SRE
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in DevOps / SRE or a related field
- 5 years of experience working with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Expertise with container based technologies e.g. Dockers Kubernetes
- Expertise with infrastructure as code configuration management tools and cloud automation e.g. Terraform CloudFormation
- Good understanding of networking and security concepts
- Experience in defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools
- Great programming skills in languages such as Python Go PowerShell
- Experience in Linux Systems Administration scripting and troubleshooting in a production environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Kubernetes certifications)
- Experience with microservices serverless architecture
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus ELK Stack Grafana)
- Knowledge in Jenkins Groovy CDK
