Job Description
We are a fastgrowing ETH Zurich spinoff with the aim of transforming transportation planning and operation through innovative webbased digital twin solutions. Transcality develops nextgeneration webapp solutions to streamline complex engineering processes of developing traffic models that are offered as a selfservice solution to our users.

Tasks
- Lead agile development processes conducting proof of concepts for new features and emerging technologies
- Design implement and manage sophisticated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Architect and develop scalable web applications using modern technologies
- Collaborate
closely with crossfunctional teams of product engineering and sales
to deliver highquality software solutions driven by customers point of
view - Proactively monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability
- Develop and implement automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team skill development

Experiences
- Proven track record of 5 years professional software development preferably in mobility or similar sectors
- Expertlevel proficiency in:
- Backend development with Python (Django)
- Frontend development using TypeScript and Next.js (or React)
- Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure Docker Kubernetes)
- Advanced experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g. Git) and tools for data versioning like DVC
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Comprehensive knowledge of databases and data communication (PostgreSQL REST)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban)
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills
Technical Skills
- Programming Languages: Python TypeScript Rust
- Frameworks: Django Next.js React Deck GL Maplibre
- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure
