Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
o
Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts management processes and improve overall efficiency.
o
Lead mentor and develop the parts team to enhance skills and productivity.
Inventory Optimization:
o
Oversee inventory management practices ensuring adherence to FIFO and efficient stocking methods to minimize excess and shortages.
o
Analyze inventory data and turnover rates to forecast demand and inform purchasing decisions.
Order Management:
o
Supervise the parts ordering process ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requests.
o
Collaborate with vendors to negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery of parts.
Customer Relationship Management:
o
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers addressing their needs and enhancing satisfaction.
o
Ensure the preparation of accurate price quotations for various parts and resolve customer issues swiftly.
Logistics and Distribution Oversight:
o
Manage the logistics operations for parts delivery ensuring timely dispatch and compliance with quality standards.
o
Coordinate with transporters and monitor delivery schedules to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement:
o
Generate comprehensive reports on inventory sales and operational performance to inform strategic decisionmaking.
o
Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices across the parts management function.
Qualifications:
Education: Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certification and Graduation in any field
Experience: Minimum 67 years of experience in parts management or a similar role in the automobile or logistics industry.
