Job Description
Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: New Albany OH
Type: FullTime Employment
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and in compliance with required standards. The role requires a strong ability to manage project planning risk quality control stakeholder relationships team leadership and budget management while also handling challenges and change throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed project plans including scope timeline budget resources and key milestones. Oversee all phases of project execution ensuring proper allocation of resources and adherence to timelines.
- Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risk throughout the project and take corrective action as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop manage and track project budgets. Ensure that the project is completed within the allocated financial resources and adjust project plans as needed to maintain budget control.
- Oversee the implementation of quality assurance practices to ensure that work meets project specifications standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders including clients contractors vendors and internal teams. Serve as the main point of contact for projectrelated communications.
- Lead and motivate crossfunctional project teams to achieve project goals. Provide guidance support and direction to team members ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Manage and document changes in project scope schedule and costs. Evaluate the impact of changes and ensure proper approvals are obtained and communicated.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders including status reports risk assessments and budget forecasts. Ensure transparent communication across all levels of the organization.
- Proactively identify potential issues and resolve problems efficiently and effectively. Implement corrective actions as needed to keep the project on track.
- Ensure the project complies with all relevant safety regulations industry standards and legal requirements including OSHA standards and local building codes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management with a strong background in managing largescale projects.
- Ability to travel as needed and work remotely ensuring effective project management across multiple sites.
- Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of project management including planning execution risk management and budget oversight.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships understand client needs and deliver highquality results.
- OSHA 30 certification required. Strong knowledge and implementation of safety practices and regulations on construction sites.
- Experience working with large national general contractors with knowledge of inspection processes and industryspecific requirements.
- Strong organizational time management and multitasking abilities. Able to juggle competing priorities while maintaining focus on project goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
