Job Description
Job Title: QA Automation Specialist(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification:
Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain automated test scripts to validate functionality performance and security of applications.
- Design and build reusable test automation frameworks to support multiple applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and other stakeholders to define test cases acceptance criteria and requirements.
- Write and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium TestNG JUnit or similar.
- Perform regression testing load testing and integration testing to ensure continuous quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for faster feedback and delivery.
- Debug troubleshoot and report issues found during automated testing and work closely with developers to resolve them.
- Maintain and update automation scripts to align with evolving product features and enhancements.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by creating and managing test suites for both functional and nonfunctional testing.
- Monitor and analyze automated test results and generate test reports for stakeholders.
- Stay uptodate with industry best practices tools and trends in software testing and automation.
- Participate in the review and improvement of QA processes and automation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automated testing.
- Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver JUnit TestNG or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python JavaScript or similar (depending on the automation toolset used).
- Handson experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Experience in version control tools (e.g. Git SVN).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Bamboo) for test automation and integration.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g. unit testing functional testing regression testing performance testing).
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman SoapUI or RestAssured.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
