About this role
As part of our Human Resourcesteam you will working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.
The Human Resources department consist of a team of HR Managers HR & Payroll Associates as well as specialized functions such as our Talent Acquisition function Payroll & Total Reward Learning & Development Sustainability & Internal Communications.
We are a team of around 20 professionals supporting TFS across 18 countries. Now we are looking for a detailed oriented team player to our headquarter at Medicon Village in Lund Sweden. TheGlobal Payroll & Total Rewards Manager reports to our Chief People Officer and is a member of the HR Management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endtoend accountability for leading and managing payroll compensation and benefits procedure development processes and execution.
- Drive efficiency of payroll compensation and benefits processes through automation team support as well as applying a continuous improvement mindset.
- Lead or be highly involved in strategic projects such as pay for transparency preparation career level development and compensation and benefit schemes review Payroll Accounting Reconciliation Compliance and Tax Filings.
- Prepare review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy before processing payments.
- Oversee general ledger (GL) postings related to payroll including salary expenses payroll taxes and benefits contributions.
- Reconcile payroll accounts monthly ensuring alignment with the GL.
- Oversee compliance with local labour laws and tax regulations for payroll.
- Coordinate and ensure accurate monthly quarterly and annual payroll tax reporting and remittances to local tax authorities.
- Account for employee benefit costs (health retirement and other social contributions) in line with local standards.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of statutory requirements and ensure that payroll records comply.
- Support financial controllers in understanding payrolls impact on financial performance especially for variance analyses.
- Oversee and support internal stakeholders in making informed decisions on cost impact in relations to employee related cost drivers Audits.
- Lead or assist in internal and external audits ensuring payroll processes and records meet auditing standards. Payroll Process Improvement .
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payroll and accounting procedures in terms of compliance efficiency cost and value.
- Oversee the payroll vendor selection process and manage relationships with payroll service providers globally.
- Data Management and Record Keeping.
- Oversee secure storage and access to payroll accounting data ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy laws.
- Ensure that payroll documents are organized and accessible for accounting and audit purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration Human Resources Finance or related field.
- At least 7 years experience of payroll operations in a multinational company.
- Professional certifications Solid knowledge of MS Office products including Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook Business acumen and relationship management.
- Experience of internal and external audits (including statutory audits).
- Ability to use metrics and analytics.
- Proven track record of vendor management budget management and annual compensation related processes such as benefit reviews salary reviews bonus programs etc.
- Fluency in English and additional languages are a plus.
- Aptitude in communicating public speaking and interpersonal skills Global & cultural Awareness Knowledge of associated HR functions (Total Reward International Mobility HR Administration).
- Ability to guide coach and influence indirect reports within own area of responsibility.
- Good planning and organization skills Flexible with a fair and balanced judgment.
