Job Description
We are seekinghighly qualified mid to senior level attorneys to join our Litigation practice group. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three to six years of litigation experience. Excellent writing skills attention to detail and strong academic credentials are required. This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional litigation practice with many opportunities and sophisticated work. Candidates must be admitted to practice in Illinois.
Responsibilities in the Litigation Associate Role
- Engage in all phases of the litigation process from initiation through to resolution including trial proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support building strong case strategies and effective legal arguments.
- Draft highquality legal documents such as pleadings motions and briefs.
- Participate actively in depositions witness preparation and court appearances.
- Ensure efficient case management by coordinating tasks and adhering to established deadlines.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to craft solutions tailored to legal challenges.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate case records aligned with legal standards.
Qualifications for Litigation Associate
- Holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the respective state.
- Possess 36 years of experience in the field of civil litigation.
- Exhibits strong skills in research analysis and problemsolving.
- Demonstrates exceptional writing and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in highpressure situations effectively.
- Detailoriented and dedicated to maintaining high professional standards.
Desired Skills in Litigation
- Experience with ediscovery and case management software is advantageous.
- Adept at navigating complex legal processes and understanding procedural subtleties.
