About the position
To support the legal technology teams continuing success and growth a new legal advisor position has been created within their team in London. This position is crossfunctional and offers overarching scope for an accomplished legal technology advisor to grow within the role alongside the growth of the team. The successful appointee will enjoy a dynamic and inspiring yet friendly and collaborative work environment the potential to grow the function significantly beyond its current scope and size as well as having the freedom to thrive in the position.
Key responsibilities
Build nurture and manage strong relationships with partners and associates of the firm.
Helping lawyers to understand relevant legal technology already at their disposal and engaging them in the innovating approach that comes from new products.
You will be responsible for keeping abreast with legal market trends capturing feedback on existing products and sharing findings on new technology with the firms central product management and innovation teams.
Working closely with the Product management teams and where necessary identifying the needs for further integration configuration or further customisation of existing solutions.
Qualifications
This is an equal opportunity appointment. The successful candidate is likely to fulfil the following criteria:
Possess a technical degree or masters in Electronic Engineering Computer Science Legal technology or Law.
Prior experience introducing Legal Technology solutions in professional services firms (our client will consider candidates who have not previously worked in a law firm).
The ideal candidates should also possess the following soft qualities:
A team player who has excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to relate with individuals within the organization and build rapport internally with colleagues as well as externally with third parties.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
Able to influence and clearly articulate and explain Legal Technology solutions benefits in nontechnical terms.
Strong relationship skills and an understanding of different ways of achieving outcomes with business and IT teams using both business and IT terminology.
A high degree of initiative strong problem solving and entrepreneurial skills to drive solutions to completion.
Good judgement and a skill in identification and prioritisation of added value and strategic tasks.
A confident firm and positive approach.
Highly developed written communication skills and capable of producing global and sensitive communications to a varied audience.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills some form of customerfacing interaction or consulting experience is a plus.
Fluent in English.
Display high integrity and ethics in all dealings internal external and personal.
