Job Description

• Design and implement Snowflakes technical infrastructure and configuration for optimal performance reliability and scalability
• Ensure that Snowflake architecture aligns with the organisation data strategy and regulatory standards including aspects like data storage compute clusters and cloud integration
• From a migration perspective keeping bet practices for Snowflake deployment and usage for high availability
• Work closely with existing platform teams to define and enforce data protection policies within Snowflake including monitoring data lineage and quality controls.
• Implement cost optimization strategies by adjusting warehouse configuration storage management and usage monitoring.
• Aligning infrastructure costs with the business data needs.
• Data lifecycle management with data governance for archiving and maintain compliance with data governance policies
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake related issues including query performance problems data loading errors and configuration incidents.

• Drive innovation by recommending Snowflake enhancements and tool integrations

Your Profile (Musthave requirements)

• 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure data engineering with minimum of 3 years focused on Snowflake.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Very senior knowledge in Snowflake environment and tools
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture data modelling and data capabilities
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Scala execution in Snowpark
• Strong knowledge in cloud platforms
• Previous experience in banking domain is a plus
