Immediate need for a Licensed Occupational Therapist
Primary role is to evaluate and treat acute care inpatient and outpatient population
Must adhere to a 75 mile straight line radius rule
Candidate must have an active NM or compact license
Must disclose time off requests upon initial submission
Candidate must be a team player flexible and accustomed to a fastpaced environment
Must have successfully completed at least one 13week travel assignment
Candidate must provide at least two references a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment upon submission
The candidate will plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy
Requires knowledge of growth and development over the life span of patients served
Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care
BLS certification required PALS and ACLS preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Shifts are primarily 8AM5PM but may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
May require on call weekends and holiday shifts
First week of the contract includes orientation and EPIC training
The position is in the field of Rehabilitation Therapy
Subspecialty is Occupational Therapist
General certifications required are BLS/BCLS; Rehabilitation Certifications(ASHACHTACP Training) are also preferred.
