Job Description
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for jigs and fixtures to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify wear and tear ensuring timely repair or replacement.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with jigs and fixtures to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Perform mechanical and technical repairs ensuring all tools meet safety and quality standards.
- Calibration and Alignment:
- Ensure accurate calibration and alignment of jigs and fixtures to maintain production precision.
- Work closely with the quality and production teams to address alignmentrelated concerns.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities including repairs replacements and improvements.
- Prepare and submit maintenance reports to the management team.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze the performance of jigs and fixtures and suggest design or process modifications for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate with the design and tooling teams to develop innovative fixture solutions.
- Spare Parts Management:
- Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and tools required for jig and fixture maintenance.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct safety checks and training sessions for the team to adhere to workplace standards.
