Job Description
Job Objective:
Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for providing all Microsoft and Virtualization technologies planning Implementation operational support related to the activities across the Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Operations:
- Security Compliance & Patch management: Planning of Monthly Patching Activity based on Monthly Security Bulletin from Microsoft
- Patching All Windowsbased Servers at PR and DR Site.
- Managing GFI LanGurad Server by Updating its Patches
- Coordination with Application and Other Relevant teams for Patch management
- Ensure timely fixation of IT security variability on the windows platform. Bank need to ensure that the organization is uptodate with the latest security measures reducing the risk of data breaches and other securityrelated incidents. This is a dedicated task requires full dedication and efforts.
- Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Management: Plan and Manage Active Directory to ensure that users have appropriate access to network resources and manage Microsoft Exchange to ensure the smooth flow of email communication. Ensure the compliance by upgrading Active Directory and Exchange Servers.
- Local & Public Certificate Authority: Manage Local & Public certificate authority to ensure that all digital certificates are uptodate and valid reducing the risk of security incidents.
- Ensure functionality and readiness of DR/BCP Site.
- Prepare & manage SOPs RFPs and Invoices & New Year Budget.
- Perform security risk assessment by using different security tools & apply the OS patches without any down time.
- Manage & Monitor Active Directory GPOs DNS Site & Services and other Windows core services
- Proactively monitor servers to anticipate and mitigate problems.
- Provide advance troubleshooting support and problem resolution of the entire virtualization infrastructure.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Implement and ensure full compliance of policy and procedures of Data Center storage and backup requirements.
- Report regular and detailed progress reports to the senior management.
Stakeholder People and Vendor Management:
- Provide cost effective solutions in provided timeframe
- Strong understanding of RFP process
Requirements
- Master in IT/ Engineering/ Computer Science
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with 4 years of experience in a similar position or equivalent in a large organization with multibranch architecture.
- Designing building and maintaining Microsoft solutions in an enterprise level setup.
- Expert hands on experience on Microsoft technologies (Exchange HyperV Windows Failover Cluster NLB Office etc).
- Developed and implemented long term strategies to reduce costs
- Highly Skilled in Microsoft licenses.
- Should have ability to schedule & script the routine jobs experience with automation tools to schedule the routine jobs and minimize manual interventions is a plus.
- Must have worked in an enterprise environment in excess of 200 servers.
- Ability to work independently on projects and duties without constant supervision.
- Ability to deal with various types of IT & nonIT vendors for daytoday affairs.
- Experience with data protection and backup solutions business continuity/disaster recovery process creating and maintaining disaster recovery documentation configuration details and software s necessary for recovery.
- Exhibits and upholds the Bank s values and social performance objectives.
- Willing to work in different shifts.
- Responsible for design implementation and maintenance of Dell IBM
- BladeCenter & HP servers and EMC ZFS storage hardware.

Education
