telecaller also known as a telemarketer or telephone sales representative is a company representative who generates sales by contacting potential and existing customers over the phone:
Make outbound calls: Generate leads by calling potential customers to present products or services explain their benefits and encourage purchases
Manage incoming calls: Resolve customer concerns and issues and organize customer information
Build relationships: Foster relationships with existing clients and build rapport with potential clients
Provide customer service: Answer customer queries provide pricing details and maintain service quality
Provide feedback: Collect data from existing customers on the impacts of the companys products or services and relay this information to the relevant departments
Follow up: Follow up with incoming leads and book appointments for the field sales team
Customize scripts: Memorize scripts and customize them for clients as per the situation
Make reports: Make reports and documentation based on conversations that took place during telecalling
Adhere to guidelines: Adhere to organizational guidelines and methodology while telecalling
Telecallers should have excellent communication skills including verbal and written communication listening skills and customer handling skills. They should also be persuasive patient and persistent.
