Epiccertified Principal Trainer needed for afastpaced EHR build for healthcare facilities operated by NCDHHS DSOHF.
3 Experienced Epiccertified Principal Trainer (PTs) needed for HIM/Identity Long Term Care (EpicCare Clinical Documentation) and Intermediate Care Facility (EpicCare Clinical Documentation) end users superusers and trainthetrainer training. Candidates for each position must have completed and active certifications and listed minimum experience required for assigned Epic applications:
HIM/Identity Principal Trainer Must be certified and experienced in the following:
- HIM and Identity Curriculum Certification
- TED105 Training Wheels Behind the Scenes
- TED300 Training Environment Build Certification
- 2 years minimum experience as a HIM/Identity Application Principal Trainer through a full implementation from pilot for customer build
- Previous MST Build experience on HIM/Identity Application at project implementation (prego live MST build)
Key Duties:
Developing rolebased training content independently or with team members using a variety of software
programs tools and applications such as Microsoft Office.
Designing developing and maintaining instructional materials.
Maintaining policy and procedure documentation.
Incorporating feedback from others into existing training and training administration procedures
Learning new content and consulting with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer
any participant questions.
Assisting with building and testing of training environments (MST environments) and providing support and troubleshooting issues.
Collaborating with other trainers by cofacilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises as
needed.
Preparing training lessons printing materials and setting up the training room and environment prior to
the training session.
Presenting information verbally and in writing in a clear and easytounderstand manner.
Following up with trainees outside of the classroom to offer additional support.
Serving as an expert educator to state staff.
Training and credentialing additional classroom trainers as needed(trainthetrainer).
Training staff and end users by teaching technical topics as needed.
Supportcurriculum and training development for thirdparty applications as needed bymanagement
Managing application assignments by prioritizing assignments and by creatingand adhering to timelines.
