Help to reduce cycle time of a deal from opportunity to execution
Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with companys plans and vision
Drive large deals/strategic deals through the internal lead to cash process based on direction from Pricing and Offer Management leadership
Generate reports and actively monitor deals including nonstandard ones in the system; notify stakeholders in order to avoid or resolve delays
Complete administrative tasks in the system such as termination requests generating new billing IDs
Help drive deal closure through proactive support guidance and effective communication to the Offer Management team and sales team
Provide assistance and troubleshoot to resolve open issues for the sales team including presales through postsales activities associated with the automated OpportunitytoCash system on an as needed basis
Be the point of contact for internal deal resolution on behalf of the sales organization
Process improvement and education 30%
Gather sales and crossfunctional feedback to assist in continuous improvement and enhancement of business processes to drive efficiency across sales team
Collects data to identify root cause of problems
Plans performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma)
Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls
Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
Train and educate the Sales team on system processes and constructs on a daily weekly and ongoing basis
Work alongside the Pricing Team to research and create renewal Bundle templates including internal revenue allocations
Evolve and improve Deal Desk business practices (including tools templates and processes) to increase efficiency of Sales and the Deal Desk
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience 23 years.
Sales or Sales Support experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate tactfully and work effectively across the organization
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detailoriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities based on changing business needs
Ability to work in a teambased fastpaced environment
Analytical problemsolving and organizational skills to interpret a situation and move towards solution recommendation
Experience with Salesforce.com desired
Ability to maintain a customercentric attitude and work well in a collaborative fastpaced environment
