We are developing a fair game that is a reflection of football rather than the football industry.We are creating a game thats fun right away driven by gameplay and where mastery will lead to the most competitive esports scene. We want our game to be accessible from anywhere on any platform and to anyone without having to invest a fortune.

Welcome to the animation team
Were seeking a talented and selfmotivated animator with a passion for crafting dynamic and visually stunning gameplay experiences. In this role youll play a key part in delivering animations that enhance both the fun and visual appeal of our game. A proactive mindset and a knack for identifying and solving challenges are essential qualities. A strong appreciation for footballor a genuine enthusiasm to learn its core mechanicsis crucial to authentically capturing the essence of the sport. At GOALS you will...
- Create highquality responsive animations for characters that align with the gameplay and artistic vision of a multiplayer football game.
- Collaborate with animators designers and gameplay programmers to implement animations into the game engine ensuring they feel responsive and grounded while meeting the demands of competitive gameplay.
- Work closely with the animation director to ensure consistency and high standards of animation quality.
- Proactively evaluate and debug animationrelated issues iterating based on feedback to refine animations and ensure optimal gameplay experience.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of animation workflows and tools to optimize production efficiency.
- Develop a thorough understanding of football fundamentals to accurately capture the dynamics and movements of players within the game.
- Plan and participate in motion capture sessions ensuring data meets production requirements.
Ideally you have...
- 5 years of experience as an animator in the games industry with at least one shipped title.
- Strong grasp of animation principles including timing weight and body mechanics with a focus on grounded realism.
- Experience with animation systems for multiplayer games especially sports or characterdriven gameplay.
- Proficiency in Maya or equivalent animation software; familiarity with MotionBuilder is a plus.
- Knowledge of implementing animations in game engines such as Unreal Engine (experience with Animation Blueprints and state machines is a bonus).
- Basic understanding of motion capture editing and integration.
- A passion for football and an understanding of the sports nuances.
About the Employment
The position is permanent and you can work from our Stockholm office hybrid or fully remote from anywhere in Europe. It is important that you are able to communicate unhindered in verbal/written English.
