As well as manage and implement sustainable financial controls to ensure NSW operations and business are in a profitable manner.
Strategic Accountabilities:
1. Contribute to the formulation of the divisional strategy in alignment with NAKILAT and NSW strategies and support its implementation.
2. Participate in translating the divisional strategy into annual business plan monitor implementation and progress and recommend corrective actions as needed.
3. Plan develop and lead an efficient and robust Finance function to support NSWs strategic planning initiatives operations and activities.
Key Accountabilities:
Internal Controls:
4. Develop the Company financial policies and procedures and oversee their proper implementation to support the financial practices and achieve the planned objectives.
5. Oversee all applicable financial controls and ensure adequate assessment and mitigation of risk as well as compliance with applicable regulatory and other legal requirements.
Financial Management:
6. Provide an independent and constructive perspective to commercial and operations teams to ensure the business decisions are grounded on solid financial criteria.
7. Support NSW MD with insights on the Financial position of the Company by presenting an objective view of the Financial situation and providing sound recommendations for the allocations of resources in the most efficient way to achieve the business goals and objectives.
8. Oversee the activitybased costing and make recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.
9. Lead all functions objectives and KPIs set by the Company in accordance with the approved plan and timelines.
10. Review the monthly budget variances analysis and segments profitability and recommend corrective action to avoid adverse variances and deviation from the business plan.
11. Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
12. Oversee the relationship with various stakeholders; i.e. external auditors and Nakilat Finance.
Knowledge Transfer:
13. Build the team skills through transformation initiatives and major change programs and raise awareness and knowledge of applicable financial policies and procedures.
14. Manage NSW Finance staff to deliver the set functional objectives.
Generic Accountabilities:
People Leadership:
15. Manage NSW finance staff cascade the objectives and priorities and ensure the team capability to accomplish the daytoday finance related activities by ensuring continuous training and professional education for the team members as required.
Change Management:
16. Contribute to managing change in the team by providing inputs for and taking part in change initiatives programs and projects that are aligned with the Company strategy and best practice.
Safety Health Quality & Environment (SHEQ)
17. Oversee and ensure compliance with all relevant SHEQ policies procedures and controls across the finance function.
Budgets and Plans:
18. Oversee the budget preparation and execution rolling forecasts and cost management in alignment with the Companys strategic plan.
Systems and Processes:
19. Lead the transformation related to digital technology to effectively manage analyze and present data in a way that yields the greatest value for the business.
Others:
20. Oversee the yearend audit task and ensure appropriate monitoring and supporting of disclosed numbers in the Financial Statements and notes.
21. Carry out other strategic duties as directed by Nakilat Chairman NSW MD and Nakilat CFO.
