Job Description
Job Title: Systems Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and innovative Systems Engineer to design implement and maintain our IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system architecture troubleshooting and ensuring seamless integration of hardware software and network solutions to support business operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design and Implementation
- Analyze business requirements to design robust system solutions.
- Develop and configure hardware and software systems based on specifications.
- Implement scalable and secure IT solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- System Maintenance and Optimization
- Perform routine monitoring testing and optimization of systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues promptly.
- Ensure system reliability and uptime through proactive maintenance.
- Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth system integration.
- Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners for hardware and software procurement and maintenance.
- Security and Compliance
- Implement security protocols to protect systems from vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations processes and updates.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or in a related role.
- Specify years of experience with e.g. Windows/Linux servers virtualization cloud platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in system architecture and design.
- Expertise in e.g. networking protocols cloud services like AWS/Azure scripting languages like Python/PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect CCNA ITIL.
- Experience with e.g. DevOps tools automation or specific industryspecific tools.
