As a Senior Staff Network Engineer you will be a key member of our IT infrastructure team responsible for designing implementing and optimizing our cloudbased network architecture. Leveraging your expertise in networking technologies you will ensure the scalability reliability and security of our cloud network infrastructure while supporting the seamless integration of cloud services with our onpremises systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with cuttingedge cloud platforms and technologies to drive innovation and enhance our organizations digital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design deploy and manage complex LANWANSDWAN network solutions across the enterprise.
Design deploy and manage cloudbased network solutions within the companys s Azure environment
Develop network architecture plans and strategies to support the organizations cloud initiatives and business objectives.
Implement best practices for network segmentation routing and traffic optimization in a cloud environment.
Implement robust security controls and measures to protect cloudbased network resources and data from unauthorized access breaches and cyber threats.
Configure and maintain data center network Infrastructure comprised of Cisco and Meraki SD WAN.
Configure and manage network security groups access control lists (ACLs) and encryption protocols to enforce data privacy and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
Configure and manage cloud networking services such as virtual private clouds (VPCs) subnets load balancers and content delivery networks (CDNs).
Optimize network performance and reliability by leveraging cloudnative services and features such as autoscaling traffic routing and global load balancing.
Implement hybrid cloud connectivity solutions including VPNs direct connections and interregion peering.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to enable scalable and repeatable deployments of cloud network resources.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate network automation into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Monitor LAN/WAN and cloud network performance metrics and analyze traffic patterns to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively detect and respond to network anomalies performance degradation and security incidents.

Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
8 years of experience as a lead in network engineering
Indepth knowledge of cloud networking concepts and technologies including VPCs subnets routing tables security groups and load balancers.
Handson experience with Azure.
Strong understanding of network security principles protocols and best practices in a cloud environment.
Experience with network automation and orchestration tools infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell).
Excellent analytical problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud network issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs regularly
Ability to perform all physical aspects including but not limited to bending lifting squatting and
climbing
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance work habits and attitude
Ability to function as a team member but able to work with little or no supervision
