Job Description

Job involves preparation and performance of various CT and radiologic procedures
Responsible for providing patient care during procedures
Job demands include standing sitting walking finger dexterity seeing hearing speaking lifting and carrying up to a maximum weight of 50 pounds
Job requires reaching repetitive arm/hand motions frequent gripping of an object stooping/bending lifting weights carrying weights and reaching above shoulder level
Occasional kneeling squatting twisting body required
Operates CT scanner computer telephone and printer
Working conditions may involve exposure to communicable diseases and stressful due to patient volume
Requires Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist or eligibility to obtain before date of hire
Requires certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)
Must have indepth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to communicate effectively with the Medical Staff
Requires Current BLS/HCP certification
Requires 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility or 1 year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures
CT experience required
Job includes rotating and night shifts.
