Job Description

Job Title: Portfolio Manager Finance and Reporting (W2)
Location: Washington DC

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager Finance and Reporting to take a leading role in managing financial operations performance reporting and governance across a diverse portfolio. This role focuses on driving strategic alignment ensuring financial accountability and delivering datadriven insights to inform decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Budgeting and Financial Planning:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive budgeting processes to align with portfolio objectives.
    • Oversee financial planning cycles ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  2. Performance Reporting and Analytics:
    • Create and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track portfolio progress.
    • Identify trends and insights through detailed analysis to guide strategy and improve outcomes.
  3. Portfolio Oversight:
    • Coordinate project reporting ensuring timely and accurate updates on key initiatives.
    • Lead portfolio reviews to evaluate performance and align with business priorities.
  4. Governance and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Organize and facilitate governance forums to promote accountability and collaboration.
    • Partner with senior leaders to align portfolio decisions with strategic goals.
  5. Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Conduct variance analysis to compare actuals with forecasts and recommend course corrections.
    • Prepare detailed financial forecasts to support resource allocation and fiscal integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Proven experience in financial management portfolio governance and analytics.
  • Proficiency in financial tools and reporting systems with advanced Excel and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a resultsdriven mindset.
