Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer to lead and enhance customer data initiatives for a dynamic Randstad client in Washington DC. This role is pivotal in implementing managing and optimizing Salesforce Data Cloud to unify segment and activate customer data for personalized engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud a strong understanding of complex data architectures and the ability to collaborate across marketing sales and IT teams to drive datadriven strategies and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Salesforce Data Cloud to unify and segment customer data.
- Design and execute data ingestion processes from multiple sources ensuring accuracy scalability and compliance.
- Collaborate with marketing sales and IT teams to define data requirements use cases and business outcomes.
- Build and maintain customer segments and profiles to support targeted personalized engagement.
- Utilize Salesforce Data Cloud features to enhance customer journeys and propose acquisition and retention strategies.
- Establish and maintain data governance and quality standards across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Analyze data to create actionable insights reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data integration and activation.
- Support segmentation activation through email and marketing solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and promote Salesforce Data Cloud best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 9 years of experience with Salesforce platforms Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) or similar solutions.
- Proficiency in data management ETL processes and data modeling.
- Deep understanding of data privacy regulations including PII GDPR and CCPA.
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification (required).
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud (preferred).
- Expertise in Marketing Cloud Personalization Evergage or Interaction Studio is a plus.
- SAFe/Agile development experience and proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter for ETL workflows.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
