Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Executive Commercial Claims for Mumbai location to handle the claims process from start to finish including filing claims coordinating with surveyors and insurers reviewing documents and ensuring timely settlements. The role also involves maintaining records and regular followups. Candidates should have 2 years of experience good MS Excel skills and a graduate/postgraduate degree.
Job Responsibilities
- Intimating claims to the insurer immediately on receipt of the claims after getting ideal intimation form filled in by the insured.
- Monitoring that the surveyor is appointed immediately after intimation to the insurer.
- Coordinating and following up with the surveyor for the completion of the survey and for the surveyors LOR.
- Following up regularly with the insured for getting the documents as per the LOR.
- Helping the insured with the documentations.
- Scrutinising the docs before they are sent to the insurer to see if they are in order.
- SAIBA Entries & monthly Claims MIS.
- Keeping in regular touch with the surveyors over phone as well as building a rapport.
- Visiting the claims hubs regularly of all insurers in Mumbai.
- Settlement of Claims right from receipt of DV to Disbursement of Amount.
- Continuous follow up for pending claims from the insured / insurer / surveyor.
Job Requirements
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims management or a related domain.
- Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of financial and technical aspects of claims.
- Certification or Diploma from the Insurance Institute of India is preferred.
