Job Description

Our client is a large Financial Services company who are seeking Backend Developers to join their team.
This role will work in our IT team primarily on Backend Software Development building integrations migrating into a new cloud based general ledger accounting systems i.e. Business Central. This role is further responsible to migrate into the new system and to build integrations into Data Lakehouse for reporting and treasury & finance reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a crossfunctional team developing Backend APIs and Integrations.
- Code of REST APIs integrating with Business Central APIs and/or the modification of existing APIs which will entail the review and understanding of project scope solution requirements & design and the I.T development life cycle
- Collaborate and communication with users and employees of varying technical skills
- Work with other developers to cross skill and also learn new technologies and keep abreast best practices
- Maintain and assist with other aspects of technical operations including all software components infrastructure hosting security as best as you are able
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Backend Developer building scalable & reliable REST APIs. Business Central API experience is a must.
- Demonstrable experience with Node.js (javascript typescript) Restify.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services AWSSDK ECR ECS Fargate is a must.
- Experience building Serverless compute services with AWS Lambda.
- Experience with Authentication and Authorization protocols preferably OAuth2 & OpenID Connect.
- Must have GIT GITFLOW experience and be comfortable with branch management.
- Experience with writing thorough Unit Tests TDD and EndtoEnd Testing
- Understanding of Software Design Patterns SOLID principles
