We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Neurology/MS in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do Key Responsibilities
To attain patientcentered outcomes and assess their efficacy plan and implement care and treatment modalities in accordance with established procedures.
Determine the needs of each patient and family by using assessment skills and approaches.
Work with the patient to plan all of their care.
Give patients expert guidance on the best goods to suit their needs.
Communicate with other multidisciplinary team (MDT) members as needed about any facet of patient care.
Create record and revise teaching care and discharge plans and documentation as needed.
Assess the information and care provided then reevaluate as necessary.
Keep an eye on and evaluate the data this hospital enters. This supports research multidisciplinary clinical audit and the creation and advancement of best practices.
Requirements
Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
Possess a minimum of two years of neuroscience nursing experience and at least five years of recent relevant postregistration nursing experience working fulltime or equivalent hours parttime in an acute hospital context.
Possess a major academic award related to the speciality area of Neurology Nursing (or a comparable one) at the level 8 postregistration Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or be prepared to do so within the following 18 months.
For this position it is preferred that candidates have prior teaching and assessment expertise as well as familiarity with JCI standards.
