Job Description

Biologist/Structural Biologist Join an Innovative ClimateFocused Startup!

Our mission is to create the next generation of organic molecules for diverse applications including energy biotech industrial solutions and even space exploration!

About the Role:
As a Biologist/Structural Biologist youll play a critical role in driving our cuttingedge research and development. Youll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to produce highquality data for machine learning models develop automated data creation pathways using microfluidics and explore innovative methods for enzyme functional analysis. This is a chance to take ownership of exciting research initiatives and thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate reproducible highquality datasets to fuel machine learning models.
  • Lead the automation of data generation processes and optimize microfluidic workflows.
  • Research and develop new pathways for highthroughput enzyme functional analysis.
  • Collaborate with the lab and crossfunctional team to define data specifications.
  • Stay flexible and proactive in adapting to a dynamic startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Biology Structural Biology Biophysics Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience with microfluidic protocols for enzyme functionalization.
  • Comfortable with protein expression (E. Coli or acellular systems).
  • Proficient in standard molecular biology and biochemistry lab techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and initiate research projects.
  • Strong publication record with at least one recent publication or preprint.
  • Excitement about synthetic biology climate solutions and datadriven research!
