The Company
Our client is pioneering automated onchain economic security providing crypto protocols with tools to optimize risk management enhance capital efficiency and safeguard user funds. Through cuttingedge EVM simulations they offer deep insights into protocol mechanics and potential scenarios while their platform secures billions of dollars in assets while driving innovation in DeFi risk management.
What Youll Do
- Analyze emerging DeFi protocols with a focus on risk modeling mechanism design and parameter optimization
- Extract actionable insights from financial data using key metrics tailored to protocol requirements
- Prepare and deliver professional datadriven reports for clients and the broader DeFi community
- Author formal research papers to advance knowledge in DeFi and support client decisionmaking
- Collaborate with clients during the presale phase to identify needs and create strategic research plans
- Host regular client meetings to provide updates and discuss research findings
- Work with the product team to recommend features and data for improving the companys observability and monitoring portal
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven experience in economic research or risk analysis preferably with exposure to the DeFi space
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a track record of datadriven research
- Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to compile and present findings and write formal research papers
- Teamoriented mindset capable of collaborating with clients and internal teams to refine product offerings
- Proficiency in reading and understanding smart contract code
- Ability to run and modify Python scripts as well as write basic scripts for data fetching and normalization
- Solid knowledge of DeFi protocols financial markets and blackswan events is highly desirable
- Bonus: Experience in writing Python scripts and functions for data fetching and normalization to support research activities
- Big bonus: Based in New York
