We are seeking a multiunit food and beverage General Manager. This position is responsible for managing daily food and beverage operations to achieve planned goals for revenue and profit provide leadership training direction and support to all employees and maintain a highquality product as well as assisting in managing a small number of commercial leases.

MultiUnit Food & Beverage General Manager Responsibilities:
Guest Satisfaction
Train staff to successfully perform guest service.
Train staff to successfully perform all the functions for guest service and for handling situations in which guests are dissatisfied with the products and services they have received; ensure difficult situations involving upset guests are handled by the most senior employee available; attempt to resolve all issues of unsatisfactory service before guests leave the property.
Ensure that all online or email guest reviews have appropriate responses.
Employee Satisfaction
Recruit select train and manage employees to deliver quality guest service and products that will lead to achieving goals for revenue and profit.
Properly administer company policies and procedures for human resources management payroll administration personnel transactions and fair treatment of employees; conduct wage surveys to provide input to annual budget and to ensure that all locations are offering competitive wages.
Train and develop assigned potential management candidates and trainees.
Provide leadership by conducting business in a professional manner and in accordance with all company policies including standards of conduct business ethics and conflicts of interest.
Maintain an acceptable level of employee turnover.
Verify all employees have all certification requirements according to Multnomah County and the state of Oregon.
Marketing and Events
Work with owners and financial controllers to create a budget for marketing and events.
Identify and implement appropriate marketing opportunities.
Analyze financial results from marketing and events and make adjustments as needed.
Facilities Maintenance
Protect the companys assets by maintaining the physical condition of the property and all equipment.
Ensure the best available repair and maintenance costs by receiving multiple bids when and where appropriate for repairs and maintenance.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with trusted repair companies/individuals.
Verify that all licenses and permits are up to date and work with the company to keep them current.
Ensure all county health code requirements are met.
Assist with commercial leases as needed with direction from local company property manager.
Quality
Ensure the highest possible standards of food and beverage quality.
Hire and train staff to maintain high quality standards.
Update menus with new items and ingredients on a regular basis to ensure highest quality and maximum profitability.
Ensure food and beverage handling is done in a safe and hygienic manner according to rules and regulations of Multnomah County.
Financial Results
Work with financial controllers to create budgets for sales labor costs of goods sold and controllable expenses for the year.
Provide regular updates on projected sales and labor goals.
Provide monthly reports on theoretical food and beverage costs vs actual costs using tools provided by employer.
Work with financial controllers to analyze variances in theoretical vs actual costs and create and implement policies to control costs.
Train all staff to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
Regularly analyze market trends and menu costs to make changes to menus as needed. This will be achieved through a combination of menu price adjustments and menu development.
Protect the companys financial assets by properly administering company policies and procedures for handling cash credit card accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and all other financial transactions
MultiUnit Food & Beverage General Manager Requirements:
Food and Beverage: 10 years (Required)
Food and Beverage Manager: 5 years (Preferred)
General Manager: 2 years (Preferred)
