Job Description
Job Title: SAP FrontEnd Developer
Position: Remote
Salary: R70k R100k
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE COMPANY
We are seeking an experienced SAP BackEnd Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on designing developing and optimizing backend components for SAP systems focusing on SuccessFactors Commerce Cloud and the Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role requires a deep understanding of SAP architectures proficiency in backend development technologies and a passion for delivering robust and scalable solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Design and develop responsive visually appealing and userfriendly web interface.
- Translate business requirements and design wireframes into highquality maintainable code.
- Customize and enhance userfacing features for SAPs SuccessFactors Commerce Cloud and BTP.
- Use SAPs APIs and SDKs to seamlessly integrate frontend components with backend SAP systems.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers backend developers and SAP consultants to deliver endtoend solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical insights.
- Optimize frontend code for performance scalability and maintainability.
- Debug and resolve frontend issues efficiently.
- Use frameworks such as React Angular or Vue.js to build highperformance interfaces.
- Implement and manage state management libraries (e.g. Redux Vuex).
- Ensure crossbrowser and crossdevice compatibility.
- Maintain code quality through testing version control and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay current with the latest frontend technologies SAP updates and industry trends.
WHO YOU ARE
- Proficiency in frontend development technologies including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong command of modern frontend frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and SAP OData services.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori design guidelines and libraries (a plus).
- Handson experience with SAP products such as SuccessFactors Commerce Cloud or BTP.
- Knowledge of SAP cloud solutions and their integration processes.
- Expertise in version control systems (e.g. Git) build tools (e.g. Webpack Babel) and testing frameworks (e.g. Jest Mocha Cypress).
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of frontend development experience preferably in SAPrelated projects.
- A passionate developer with a deep interest in creating seamless and engaging digital experiences.
- Someone with a proven track record in frontend development ideally within SAP ecosystems.
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environments and values effective communication.
- A detailoriented problem solver who ensures solutions are efficient and scalable.
BONUS POINTS FOR
- Experience with SAP Fiori UI5 framework.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
- Certifications in SAP products or frontend technologies.
