Job Description

LOOKING FOR PHILIPPINEBASED CANDIDATES

Position : Document Controller/Assistant
Work Hours (Client)
: 8am 6pm UAE time Sunday Thursday
Holidays : TBA
Pay Range : $1000 $1500/month USD (depending on interview assessment and client's approval)

Company/Client Overview:

The client is an Oil and Gas Engineering Consultant firm established in December 2006 specialised to provide Program Management Engineering and Environment Management Services to Oil & Gas industry worldwide specifically in North America Middle East and Africa Region.

From the original premises in Vancouver Canada the client has expanded to have Middle East & Africa (MEA) Headquarter Engineering Support offices in UAE Dubai (2012) Abu Dhabi (2018) and Branch office in Iraq Basra (2014).

We work with our clients to thoroughly understand how we can best meet the requirements.

Typically our services are tailored to meet our Clients’ needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Document Controller/Assistant to support our team with efficient documentation and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word excellent English communication abilities and a proactive work ethic.

  • Manage and organize company documents to ensure accessibility and compliance.
  • Perform data verification and numbers checks in spreadsheets.
  • Prepare small contracts service agreements and service orders using readymade templates.
  • Maintain and update electronic document management systems such as SharePoint OneDrive Wrench or Box.
  • Handle administrative tasks including booking tickets and coordinating schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation for ISO certifications.
  • Create new templates for various processes as needed to improve efficiency and streamline operations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 35 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is a MUST
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work actively and at a fast pace.
  • Familiarity with electronic document management systems such as SharePoint OneDrive Wrench or Box etc

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience managing quality systems and maintaining documentation for ISO certifications.
  • Experience with ISO certification (statutory and regulatory requirements)
