Job Description
As an ETL Developer you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining efficient and reliable data pipelines. You will work closely with data analysts data scientists and other stakeholders to extract transform and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Responsibilities:
* Design develop and implement ETL processes to extract transform and load data from diverse sources (e.g. databases APIs flat files) into data warehouses and data marts.
* Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Troubleshoot and resolve ETL process issues optimizing performance and scalability.
* Stay uptodate with the latest ETL technologies tools and best practices.
* Document ETL processes data flows and technical specifications.
* Contribute to the development of data governance policies and standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
* 3 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python Perl or Shell).
* Experience with ETL tools (Informatica Talend SSIS etc.)
* Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
* Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
