Job Summary:
The role is for a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join a healthcare team.
The candidate should preferably have experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
The job requires providing care to patients of all ages including children and seniors.
A basic life support certification is preferred for this role.
Familiarity with medical systems such as Cerner will be an added advantage.
The responsibilities include assisting nurses and medical staff with patient care tasks and providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
The nursing assistant will also help patients with daily living activities and monitor and report changes in their health status.
Ensuring a clean and safe patient environment is a key responsibility.
The nursing assistant will need to collaborate with healthcare team members in order to provide excellent patient care.
The job requires experience working in a hospital or teaching hospital setting.
Knowledge of medicalsurgical procedures and anatomy is necessary.
The ability to work with diverse patient populations including children and seniors is required.
