Position Overview: The LCSW Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical supervision training and guidance to social workers and other mental health professionals within the organization. This role ensures that staff are adhering to ethical and legal standards while providing highquality care to clients. The supervisor will also provide direct clinical services as needed as well as contribute to the development and implementation of programs aimed at enhancing the quality of care.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Supervision: - Provide regular individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and prelicensed social workers trainees and other mental health professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the clinical practices of staff to ensure compliance with ethical standards organizational policies and legal regulations.
- Facilitate case consultations and ensure staff are using evidencebased practices in treatment planning and interventions.
- Assist staff in managing complex and highrisk cases providing clinical guidance and support.
- Review and cosign clinical documentation treatment plans and progress notes to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications: Education: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Licensure: Valid and active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in Indiana
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in social work with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in supervising clinical staff particularly in a social work or mental health setting.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of clinical social work practices and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentoring.
- Familiarity with documentation standards and clinical recordkeeping.
- Understanding of ethical legal and professional standards in social work practice.
Other Requirements: - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Program Development and Quality Assurance: Participate in the development and evaluation of new programs and services within the organization. Ensure that clinical services are delivered in accordance with the organizations mission and standards. Oversee and ensure adherence to safety confidentiality and legal requirements in all clinical practices. Assist in monitoring and improving the quality of care provided to clients through chart reviews and case audits.
Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to support the professional development of clinical staff particularly for licensure requirements. Stay current on the latest research treatment modalities and trends in social work practice and integrate them into supervision and training programs. Provide staff with feedback and tools for improving clinical skills therapeutic techniques and professional behavior. Support the development of continuing education opportunities for the team to meet licensure and certification standards.
