Job Description
A hospital located near Albuquerque New Mexico is looking for a Patient Assistance Coordinator. Seeking immediate hire with an open start date discussed upon interview!
Salary: $80000 $100000/annually
Patient Assistance Coordinator:
- Patient Assistance Coordinator will assure the accurate extraction of data from the clinical documentation.
- Ensures compliance with regulations for IRFPAI completion including admission/discharge QI coding.
- Works to improve process of QI coding and all other data collection specific to IRFPAI.
- Understands and can teach the IRFPAI manual for CMS compliance.
- Trains staff in accurate and defendable documentation processes to support the IRFPAI.
Patient Assistance Coordinator Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified clinician: RN PT PTA OT SLP Case manager/social worker
- Obtains UDS IRF PPS Certification after 2 years in the PASC role and prior to the 3rd year anniversary.
- QI Credentialed
- Patient Assistance Coordinator must have 1 year experience in the healthcare setting
- Attends all EHC IRFPAI trainings
