As an ORACLE EBusiness Suite (EBS) DB Administrator you will:
- Handle tickets raised by functional technical and business users.
- Address alerts raised by the monitoring system for databases and EBSrelated applications.
- Install EBS custom patches and manage version control.
- Clone nonproduction EBS environments from production.
- Install Oracle Critical Patch Updates on all Oraclerelated applications and infrastructure every three months.
- Monitor the EBS suite and its related products like OBIEE SSO Hyperion OEM and Linux.
- Start stop and bounce EBS and its different components (apache oacore oafm etc.).
- Provide general technical troubleshooting and consultation to development teams.
- Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
- Assist superiors and recommend solutions.
- Work on your own initiative with limited supervision.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience in Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware.
- Experience in managing Oracle RDBMS 19c or higher.
- Experience in applying Oracle Critical Patch Updates on all Oraclerelated applications and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Linux Oracle Clusterware and Oracle ASM.
- Strong technical engineering skills adaptive to customer needs and able to work in a team.
- Experience working within classified network environments (desirable).
- Experience in managing Oracle EBusiness Suite 12.2 (desirable).
- Experience in monitoring Oracle environments via Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c (desirable).
- Knowledge of Hyperion OBIEE and Oracle SSO (desirable).
- Good understanding of Oracle core database and Fusion middleware architecture and concepts.
You should possess the ability to:
- Handle tickets and alerts efficiently.
