Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Product Officer to oversee the procurement and sales of electrical items. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective product management maintaining quality standards and achieving sales targets. This role requires excellent negotiation skills market understanding and a keen interest in electrical products.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and source electrical items from reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with vendors.
- Ensure timely procurement to meet inventory and operational needs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for electrical products.
- Identify potential customers and build strong relationships with them.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and customer preferences to adjust product offerings.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels by analyzing demand and supply.
- Work closely with quality control teams to ensure product standards.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases sales and inventory.
- Generate detailed reports on product performance and profitability.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to electrical products.
- Provide technical assistance and product recommendations.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in product management procurement or sales of electrical items.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of electrical products and their applications.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Leverage your knowledge of electrical systems, with a preference for those from an industrial background (UPS, Solar Inverters, APFC, Drive). - Clearly communicate the technical benefits of our solutions to clients.
Education
5 years for Diploma, 2-3 years for BE/B.Tech.
