Job Description: Plumber with Med/Gas Certification and TX State License
We are seeking experienced and qualified plumbers to join our team for an exciting construction project at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine TX. This is a great opportunity to work on a highprofile medical facility construction project.
Position Overview:
As a licensed plumber with a Med/Gas certification you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing medical gas systems in compliance with state and local codes. You will also handle general plumbing tasks to ensure the hospitals construction meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and test medical gas systems according to state and industry standards.
- Perform plumbing installations repairs and maintenance for the hospital construction project.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations local building codes and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any plumbingrelated issues onsite.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas State Plumbing License.
- Med/Gas Certification (required).
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in plumbing (preferred).
- Strong understanding of medical gas systems and installation procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Compensation:
- $36.00 $42.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Summary: Supports all production/facility equipment during normal operation, performs preventive maintenance on all equipment, and maintains facility in top condition. Duties and Responsibilities: The following reflects management s definition of essential functions for this job but, does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Performs minor and routine repairs including but, not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. Assists with the installation and modification of building or production equipment systems, if needed. Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files production related equipment. Performs routine Preventive Maintenance on equipment. Creates and maintains Preventive Maintenance files. Ensures PM s are performed at designated intervals. Assist with procurement of service contracts/repair work; assists with purchase of many facility fixtures and equipment. Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair. Implements Corrective Actions when equipment issues occur. Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities. Inspects production related equipment of unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations. Prepares required reports and correspondence. Performs other duties as assigned by manager. Order and maintain Spare Parts for equipment. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent 3 years experience in a maintenance position, preferably in an automotive related environment. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and industrial maintenance. Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Demonstrates ability to plan and organize projects. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Strong interpersonal skills Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance. Bilingual skills a plus. Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions. Ability to perform the physical labor necessary Ability to effectively communicate with people with people at all levels and from various backgrounds. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace Ability to work in a sometimes-stressful environment MS Access experience Programmable Logic Control (PLC) experience.
