Position Title: Journeyman Plumber
Duration: Temp to Hire
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in various plumbing installations repairs and maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency. This role demands a strong understanding of plumbing systems adherence to safety standards and excellent problemsolving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Install repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes fixtures and water supply/drainage systems.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions to ensure longlasting repairs.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes safety regulations and company standards.
- Blueprint Interpretation:
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to plan installations.
- Material Management:
- Select and procure appropriate materials and tools for each project.
- Collaboration:
- Work with other team members contractors and clients to complete projects efficiently.
- Emergency Repairs:
- Respond to emergency plumbing situations and provide timely fixes.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work completed including reports on inspections and repairs.
Qualifications
- License/Certification:
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license/certification required.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in residential commercial or industrial plumbing.
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems tools and safety practices.
- Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle extended periods of manual labor.
- Technical:
- Familiarity with plumbing software or digital tools is a plus.
- Drivers License:
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record preferred.
