Job Description

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Revenue responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
  • Review reservation booked daily and review arrival report
  •  Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and cash handling which includes currency exchange and balancing a float
  • Responsible for various production reports and supply to each department concerned.
  • Monitoring telephone manner and general performance of reservations staff daily.
  • Monitor and coordinate group reservations activity with the Sales Department
  • Follow up tentative bookings and update reservation status
  • Review noshow and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to hotels policy
  • Review room blocking for long stay guest and special group request.
  • Maintain cordial relations with commercial clients.
  • Bring to the attention Front Office Manager when the hotel availability status be changed and prepare for necessary action.
  • Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly position at all times.
  • Maximize room occupancy at best rates and use upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
  • Knowledgeable in hotel and guest room facilities/services and ensures reservations agents are equally knowledgeable

 


Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

  • Fluent in English language written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Opera (PMS) office software Revenue analysis software
  • Ability to come up with unusual or innovative ideas in order to increase Revenue
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong training skills
  • Detail oriented with a passion to provide guests with an exceptional experience
  • Able to facilitate increased levels of communication with other departments to maximize guest satisfaction
  • Positive and proactive in resolving problems reasoning and analytical abilities
  • Takes initiative and works through obstacles taking personal responsibility for results
