Job description:
As an ETL Test Engineer you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing to validate data sources extract data apply transformation logic and load data into target tables. Youll work closely with data engineering teams to ensure a sustainable testing approach. Key responsibilities include:
- Testing data validation scenarios data ingestion pipelines and transformation processes.
- Using automated testing tools and understanding information governance principles in a testing capacity.
- Automating tests across multiple platforms and technologies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Managing test cases and handling issue and defect management.
- Testing systems that capture verify and maintain fieldgenerated metadata.
- Familiarity with various backend and frontend languages libraries databases web servers web services APIs and UI/UX design.
- Knowledge of modern testing development practices and integrated testing products integration with tools such as GitLab.
- Experience with Agile Software Development & Testing methods for cloud deployments.

- Insurance domain knowledge is Most
- Main Frame Background (extracting files from MF and comparing in Db2)
- Python Most
- DB2 Aurora SQL MySQL PostgreSQL Databricks Snowflake
- Power BI/SSRS/SSIS for report testing
- Messaging events (SNS/SQS/Kafka)
- Informatica tool for ETL
- AWS Cloud S3
This role demands a diverse skill set and experience with a wide variety of technologies and testing practices. Customer already have the couple of inhouse Developed tool which needs to be enhanced using the Python and Java scripts
