We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and control efforts. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products and services consistently meet established quality standards regulatory requirements and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will oversee quality systems manage audits lead a highperforming quality team and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve key quality performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality System Management and Audits
- Collaborate with Global Quality teams to maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) with zero nonconformance.
- Execute internal certification client regulatory and surveillance audits; lead CAPA implementation for all findings.
- Drive continuous improvement and compliance with Global Quality policies.
2. New Product and Process Development (NPI/NPD)
- Ensure quality standards are upheld in all New Product Introductions (NPI) and New Process Developments (NPD).
- Review and approve accelerated life testing (ALT) results prior to release.
- Update Product FMEAs and develop Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) to drive improved product quality and achieve a Ppk of 1.67 across all criticaltoquality parameters.
3. InProcess Quality Control (QC)
- Oversee QC activities to ensure production processes meet defined standards and specifications.
- Lead MRB meetings to address nonconforming materials and minimize production impact.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Update Process FMEAs and refine quality control plans for defect management.
4. Client Quality Management
- Manage customer complaints compute Client CoPQ/ppm and ensure timely resolution and updates to maintain satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates on quality performance metrics and initiatives to clients.
5. Supplier Quality Monitoring
- Evaluate supplier performance through audits and ensure conformance to specifications.
- Analyze supplier quality data to identify improvement opportunities and resolve complaints related to raw material quality.
6. Training and Compliance
- Design and conduct training programs on quality tools inspection techniques and compliance requirements.
- Regularly assess training needs and ensure staff are wellversed in quality SOPs and metrics.
- Foster a culture of quality ownership throughout the factory.
7. Leadership and Team Development
- Manage and develop site quality teams ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Provide coaching performance management and leadership to drive team effectiveness.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Lead site layout and process improvement efforts leveraging Lean and Six Sigma tools to achieve operational excellence.
- Implement worldclass quality practices (e.g. 8D Pareto Analysis PFMEA SPC) to support continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Ppm (parts per million).
- TAT (Turnaround Time).
- CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
- MRB and NCR (NonConformance Reports).
- Reduction of repeat rootcause issues.
- Maintenance of Product FMEA/QAP.
- ECM (Engineering Change Management).
Qualifications:
Experience in Manufacturing:
- 6 years of experience in manufacturing with expertise in quality management preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industries.
- 3 years of experience managing quality teams and implementing performance management systems.
- Proven leadership skills in crossdepartmental collaboration.
Technical Expertise:
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and procedures (ISO9001 ISO14001 ISO45001 IATF); Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as 8D PFMEA SPC and Cpk analysis.
