Position Summary


We are seeking a fulltime product manager to join our technology team who will be responsible for developing Indus Actions nextgen platform.


We re looking for exceptional candidates who are excited about the opportunity to build a nextgeneration CivicTech and GovTech. The incumbent should be passionate about building awesome products by utilizing cuttingedge technologies which in turn creates value for citizens nationally.


You will shape the company s current and future product development by converting the product roadmap into a reality. You must be passionate about tackling complex challenges faced byproduct development organizations.


The technology team at Indus Action is agile and small and everyone gets an opportunity to have their hands on multiple products and technologies while simultaneously finding areas to focus on more closely over time.


This is a terrific opportunity to develop leadingedge technology products and be at the forefront of innovation to bridge the information gap while getting exposure to the CivicTech/GovTech landscape and contributing towards Indus Action s mission of enabling vulnerable families sustainable access to legislated rights .

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities (KRAs)


  • Product Strategy and Vision

    • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the organization s mission and goals.

    • Conduct market research and user needs analysis to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing products.


  • Product Development and Management

    • Lead the endtoend product development lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering design and data to ensure timely and highquality product delivery.

    • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback market trends and organizational priorities.


  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies nonprofits and community organizations to gather requirements and feedback.

    • Present product updates and roadmaps to stakeholders ensuring alignment and buyin.


  • User Experience and Design

    • Advocate for a usercentric approach in all product decisions ensuring that products are accessible inclusive and easy to use.

    • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.


  • DataDriven Decision Making

    • Utilize data analytics and user feedback to inform product decisions and measure the impact of product changes.

    • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product performance and user satisfaction.


  • Project Management

    • Manage project timelines budgets and resources effectively to ensure successful product launches.

    • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact product delivery.


  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement

    • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in CivicTech and product management.

    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product team.


  • Partnerships Grants and Awards

    • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with relevant organizations and stakeholders.

    • Seek out grant and award opportunities to support and fund product initiatives.

    • Write and submit proposals for partnerships grants and awards ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.


  • Compliance and Ethical Considerations

    • Ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards particularly in areas related to data privacy and security.

    • Promote ethical use of technology and data in all product initiatives.

Compensation


The Technology Manager will be compensated based on the Indus Action s compensation bench marking rubric. The range of compensation will be depending on qualifications experience role fitment.

Here are the minimum qualifications we look for: Minimum Graduation Degree In B.E./B.Tech/BCA Background in Python required Minimum of 5 years of experience. Knowledge and Technical Skills Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on managing Python and React.js projects. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create clear and concise project documentation. Experience working in 0-1 stage companies, with a track record of successfully delivering projects in a startup environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
